Wildcat Mountain nearby is a great ski area featuring a tremendous 2,112-foot drop from top to bottom served by 4 good ski lifts; it has 47 trails and obtains 19 feet of wonderful snow yearly. Black Mountain is loved by skiers; it has 66% beginner and intermediate ski slopes and 34% challenging ski slopes. A total of 143 acres of terrain in all.
