The workforce of this good campground and the great quality of everything here are quite amazing.

Good hiking is available along the Slimmer Creek Trail, and Horseshoe Lake North Shore Fishing Access Site is right next door to Thompson Falls State Forest which is a picturesque site. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Cabinet Mountains. Go for a hike on the Calx Mountain Trail, and there's some flowing water nearby, Wabuno Creek is a stream you can stop at while here. This campground is so great.
