Near Palisades you come across magnificent spots like Wall Canyon, and you can go for a hike on the Dry Fork Trail. This campground is so perfect. Take a side tour to Bobcat Creek, and there's great hiking along the Lobo Mesa Pack Trail. While you're here at Palisades you can play some golf at Madison Meadows Golf Course, and don't leave Palisades without first going for a hike along the Hyde Creek Trail. not stop at Cliff Lake close to Palisades, and good hiking is available along the Gazelle Creek Pack Trail. Hit the slopes at Moonlight Basin around here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Palisades; Lightning Creek Trail is a good local trail.
