 always fun to stop by Deerlodge National Forest, and the Hi Line Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. Skiing at Lost Trail Powder Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. There is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of East Fork Guard Station called the Big Hole National Recreation Trail; not far from East Fork Guard Station you'll hit upon Moose Lake which is a delightful lake. If you're here, you might as well visit Echo Gulch, and as expected Martin Creek flows through this area. For the period of the long summer days highs here at East Fork Guard Station get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with  
highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at East Fork Guard Station descend into the 0's.
