Some nearby water includes Grouse Creek, and the panorama of Needle Rock is gorgeous. And that's not all the things to do here in the Pioneer Mountains. While you're here at Pettengill you can take a hike along the Hiline Trail; a tour to Bannack State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. This campground has everything. Going for a hike along the Copper Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. A visit to Beaverhead National Forest when you're here at Pettengill is a good idea; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the   Alder Creek Trail.
