This section of St. Joe River is proposed for whitewater paddlers of medium experience. You ought to check the situation ahead of going; whitewater rafting and kayaking may become hazardous. Everybody loves Thompson Falls State Forest, and there are glorious places to look at along the Cedar Creek Stock Driveway. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bitterroot Range. A cool spot to stop at right next door to Cliff Lake is Eagle Cliff, and there are other places here than Cliff Lake, for example Heather Lake. This campground is so delightful. Don't   leave Cliff Lake without first going for a hike along the Trout Creek Stock Driveway.
