West Madison is positioned in a vicinity with a lot of entertaining stuff to do, and it is a good escape from everyday life. West Madison is an old favorite with the folks from Ennis. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, playing golf, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Moonlight Basin, and since you're here   you will meet lots of folks from nearby Ennis. The Dry Fork Trail is a fine hiking trail close to West Madison; it's a delightful idea to visit Blaine Spring Creek. This is a good campground. A stunning lake like Cedar Lake near West Madison is a wonderful location to check out; The Lodge at Sun Ranch is a great spot to ride horses near West Madison. Going for a hike on the Pedro Trail is always a great adventure. A spree to West Madison wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park. There is a delightful hiking trail next to West Madison called the Hyde Creek Trail. Playing golf is lots of fun at Madison Meadows Golf Course. At West Madison you don’t see   much rain. The month with most of the rain is June while February is frequently the driest month.
