Black Hawk Access in Missouri is just the location. North River has a nearby whitewater stretch; the Mo. County Road 530 to Highway 61 bridge portion is a good 17-mile-in-length category I(II) stretch of whitewater. You are not
| | projected to get dripping wet paddling this stretch of North River. Don't go paddling in advance of first checking the situation; it's treacherous business. For all you bowlers, Cotton Bowl is a good bowling alley close to Black Hawk Access. In the event that you have a boat, Art Keller Marina is a wonderful marina, and in case you want to take a ride on a horse Mike Long & Sons Horse is in the neighborhood. This campground is so beautiful. Lots of folks from Durham come to Black Hawk Access, and as expected Pigeon Creek flows through this neighborhood.
