Marquette is a skiers delight. It has 35% advanced and expert slopes on its 151 acres of skiable area, and 65% intermediate or beginner slopes for learners. Nearby Marquette is a ski hill with a nice 600-foot vertical drop. Marquette has 25 slopes and 4 ski lifts and gets blanketed by 18 feet of fluffy snow per season. The CR 550 Bridge segment is a magnificent 0.3-mile-from-start-to-finish grade III-IV part of whitewater on Dead River. The CR 550 Bridge segment of Dead River is fitting for kayak paddlers who have been whitewater kayaking or rafting for
some time but who are not yet ready for the extremely treacherous rapids. If you are going whitewater kayaking or rafting, you ought to always check the latest conditions.
