The people who look after the campground and the admirably controlled operations are a good attraction for scores of folks. So many entertaining things in the neighborhood of Golden Lake, and camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a great site to do that. A lot of people stay at Golden Lake during       their journey to Nicolet National Forest. Michigan has a lot of outdoors activities. The good local attractions and so many things to do will make you glad you came. Some activities here at Golden Lake are fishing, hiking,   swimming, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so it's just not possible to get bored. Lakes are perfect; Golden Lake is a lake that's near Golden Lake. The Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail offers hiking at its best; Ottawa National Forest is a delightful spot to go to on a delightful day. At this campground you will always have a great time. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Brule. A spree to Nicolet National Forest when you're here at Golden Lake is never a bad idea, and close to Golden Lake you find a golf course called Iron River Country Club. Golden Lake is right by the Kimball Creek Trail; a golf course close by is Big Sand Lake Golf Course. So many   fun things to do at Golden Lake, so little time. Hiking along the Anvil Lake Trail System is tremendous fun.
