This is a fine place for boating; of course there are restrooms here. This section of Maine is always a diversion to have a look at during camping season. | | motives to come. Allagash River has a splendid 92-mile-long class I-II whitewater sweep nearby, the Chamberlain Lake to Allagash segment. Raft paddlers on this sweep of Allagash River don’t need a lot of know-how in whitewater kayaking and rafting. Naturally, whitewater kayaking and rafting is enjoyable but dangerous; check restrictions ahead of going. If you're here at Allagash Waterway - Jaws, you could explore McCluskey Brook; there are other places here than Allagash Waterway - Jaws, for example Lower Hudson Pond.
