| | boating. If you are going whitewater boating, you have to always check restrictions. Going for a hike along the Abol Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Not far from Hurd Brook Lean-to - Appalachian Trail, you'll hit upon First Debsconeag Lake which is a picturesque lake. Hiking along the Abot Trail is wonderful fun, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Blue Trail. This campground is a good place to take a look at. Hit the slopes at Big Squaw in close proximity, and Hurd Brook Lean-to - Appalachian Trail is right by the Abol Trail.
