    Stream, the 3-mile-from-beginning-to-end Little Niagara to Penobscot River segment. It may be said that this sweep of Nesowadnehunk Stream is a place for expert whitewater kayaking and rafting. Don't snub to check conditions before
 you go whitewater kayaking and rafting to guarantee your wellbeing. There's fine hiking along the Saddle Trail, and you'll hit upon a beautiful lake called First Debsconeag Lake. Don't leave Baxter State Park - Katahdin Stream without first going for a hike along the Abol Trail. Peaks-Kenny State Park is both great and scenic, and it's close to Baxter State Park - Katahdin Stream, and Big Squaw is a good local ski area. At Baxter State Park - Katahdin Stream you can see Barren Mountain, and there are great sites to discover along the Abot Trail. Good hiking is available along the Northwest Basin Trail, and going for a hike on the Abol Trail is always a delightful adventure. Be careful coming
