A visit to Maine is not complete without some camping. So much cool stuff close to Deboullie PRL -   Upper Pond, and it certainly is a perfect campground. The Round Pond to Ferguson Brook portion on Fish River is a nearby grade I-III whitewater sweep, 5.5 miles long. In case you boast a little paddling experience, this portion of Fish River may be a splendid site for you. Check conditions before you go on the whitewater, otherwise it's not safe and sound. The summit of Whitman Mountain can be made out from Deboullie PRL - Upper Pond; at Perch Pond Dam close to Deboullie PRL - Upper Pond there are some exciting things to see. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Big Squaw, and going for a hike on the Fox Brook Trail is always a fine adventure.
