Don't go whitewater boating before first checking restrictions; it's hazardous business. There are good places to look at along the Bald Mountain Trail; it's a pleasant idea to take a look at Cunningham Brook. A spree to Lily Bay State Park when you're here at Penobscot River Corridor - Birch Point is a great idea, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because MT Kineo Golf Course is in the vicinity.
