The CR 13 to CR 9 sector of Sleepy Creek is well suited for paddlers who have been whitewater rafting and kayaking for some time but who are not yet ready for the especially dangerous rapids. If you are going whitewater rafting and kayaking, you ought to always check circumstances. Visiting Appalachian National Scenic Trail is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; there's great hiking along   the Silas Trail.
