The Big Indian to Allaben segment, a whitewater section on Esopus Creek is 5 miles from start to finish. This close by section of whitewater is a grade II(III). The Big Indian to Allaben segment of Esopus Creek is proposed for whitewater boaters of medium practice. Always check the situation before heading out whitewater boating because whitewater boating is a hazardous pursuit. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Catamount is close to Sage's Ravine - Appalachian Trail; you can race go-karts at nearby High Performance Karting. Go on a visit to Town   Hill Farm in the event that you want to ride a horse; why not take a refreshing hike along the Northrop Trail.
