There's a wonderful type II-III stretch of whitewater close by on Cumberland River, the 11-mile-from-start-to-finish Cumberland Falls to Laurel River section. If you don’t want to risk getting wet this stretch of Cumberland River is most likely not for you. Don't go whitewater rafting and kayaking in advance   of first checking the latest conditions; it's hazardous matter.
