Don't go whitewater kayaking or rafting prior to first checking restrictions; it's dangerous matter. Visiting Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Go for a hike on the Bark Camp Trail, and take the children on a number of amusing rides at close by Hal Rogers Family Entrtnmnt. This campground has so much. Lakes? Sure,   Laurel Creek Reservoir is in the vicinity, and Indian Mountain State Park is a great place.
