A game of bowling is enjoyable at close by K-State Student Union REC Center, and in case you feel like getting out on the water, Wildcat Marina is nearby. Take a side trip to Booth Creek, and Carnahan Creek Park is in close proximity to Tuttle Creek State Park which is a pretty place. If you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Manhattan Country Club; Milford State Park is a tremendous   site to stretch your legs a bit.
