A class III-V, 28-mile-from-beginning-to-end whitewater segment can be found on close by Clearwater River - North Fork, the Orogrande Creek to Aquarius Campground section. The Orogrande
 Creek to Aquarius Campground section of Clearwater River - North Fork is proposed for expert whitewater paddlers solely. Don't neglect to check current conditions ahead of going kayak paddling to guarantee your safety. Go for a hike on the Dead Mule Trail; not far from Fourth of July Trailhead you'll find Heather Lake which is a wonderful lake. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Going for a hike on the Shin Point Trail is always a great adventure; a quick spree to Fisher Creek is beyond doubt a nice idea. This campground has so many cool things to offer. When you're here at Fourth of July Trailhead it's always fun to stop  
at Clearwater National Forest, and St. Joe National Forest is a good site to stretch your legs a bit. For the duration of the summer months here at Fourth of July Trailhead, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's.
