There's such an incredible array of things to do near Badger Creek, and campgrounds like these are glorious. Ok, you've been indoors for too much time, time's here for camping, and Badger Creek in Idaho is a really glorious place to spend some time. recreation is bountiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's not possible to get bored. Sheep Creek has a great 0.5-mile-in-distance grade III-IV whitewater sweep close by, the Last half
| | mile before Middle Fork Boise River portion. This sweep of Sheep Creek is not a location for learners to come whitewater rafting or kayaking single-handedly. Check conditions prior to departure on the whitewater, otherwise it's not safe and sound. Near Badger Creek you find the Devils Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Mountain Home. Going for a hike on the Roaring River Trail is always a great adventure, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Bogus Basin is reasonably near.
