Big Creek is a magnificent campground to use as   a base while enjoying the Bitterroot Range. Anxious to raise that tent; Big Creek in Idaho is the outdoors at its greatest. There are so many amusing things to do close to Big Creek, and when you spend some time here you will feel like another person. 45% of the 1,500 acres of skiable land at Silver Mountain consist of expert and advanced ski slopes. But there are great ski slopes for children and learners as well; 55% of the ski slopes are blue and green. The 73 ski slopes that cover the nearby ski hill Silver Mountain are lots of fun; these ski slopes get an average of 25 feet of good snow per season. Silver Mountain has a great 2,200-foot drop, and has 7 ski lifts. Big Creek is near   Old Mission State Park which is a pretty spot; a pleasant site to explore is Deadman Gulch.
