The Hazard Creek to Salmon   River at Riggins portion on Little Salmon River is a close by class II-V whitewater bit, 20 miles from beginning to end. If you possess lots of whitewater kayaking and rafting skill, this bit of Little Salmon River could be a splendid whitewater bit for you. Whitewater rapids are treacherous phenomenons, so you have to check the latest conditions in advance of a trip. While you're here at Hazard Creek Access you can take a hike along the Broken Leg Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Pollock here. Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. On a tremendous day it's a good idea to spend the day at Sylvan Beach, and the Heavens Gate Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. At this campground   you will always have a great time.
