Finally, camping season is here again, and Pipeline is a good local campground if you happen to be in Idaho. All the smiling folks and the perfectly       taken care of facilities beat anything. A lot of people stay here so they can go to Massacre Rocks State Park. The close by type I-III, 32.7-mile-in-distance American Falls to Lake Walcott portion of whitewater on Snake River   is plenty of fun. You might get soaked whitewater boating this run of Snake River, so you should be prepared for that. Don't go whitewater boating before first checking restrictions; it's hazardous business. A day at beautiful Wheatgrass Bench near Pipeline is a great thing to do; at Pipeline you always meet someone from American Falls. Time spent at Compressor Station Bench close to Pipeline is always delightful, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Hazard Creek Golf Course. This campground is a glorious location to go to. A wonderful location near Pipeline is Ferry Hollow, and don't forget to take a fine little tour to Warm Creek. If you want to play some golf,   you're in luck because American Falls Golf Club is in the vicinity.
