A tremendous place to check out in close proximity to Curlew Creek is Sloans Gulch; hiking along the Bremner Trail is wonderful fun. At this campground you will always have a good time. Don't leave Curlew Creek without visiting Three Island Crossing State Park, and Curlew Creek is right by the Yuba River Trail.
