It's a type III-IV section. For whitewater kayaking or rafting this section of   St. Joe River - Marble Creek is an enjoyable place. For your protection you should always check conditions in advance of going whitewater kayaking or rafting. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Silver Mountain, and a tour here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to nearby Dworshak State Park. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Clearwater Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Prince Peak Trail; Twin Spring Creek is next to Crater Lake and is always a delight to explore. Coming to this campground is always a wonderful idea. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Crater Lake; Rukgaber Trail is a nice local trail. Crater Peak is painless to spot from Crater Lake,   and you can go for a hike on the Slate-Dunn Peak Trail. Nearby lakes?
