Skelton Gulch is a wonderful place to check out near Elks Flat; on a good day you can take a hike along the Roaring River Trail. The Yuba River Trail is a good hiking trail near Elks Flat, naturally you could also stop by Anderson Ranch Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. Near Elks Flat you find the Bremner Trail which is a good hiking trail, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Mountain Home. This place, Elks Flat, it definitely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. While you're   here at Elks Flat you can take a hike along the Sheep Drive Trail, and Sawtooth National Forest is a glorious location to go.
