Near Luby Bay is a fine 23-mile-in-distance run of whitewater on Priest River, a grade II-III, this is the Upper Priest River to Priest River Town segment. This segment of Priest River is a mid difficulty run for whitewater kayaking or rafting. For your safety you ought to always check the situation before going whitewater kayaking or rafting. The delightful marina of Priest Lake Marina is a fine scene to leave dry land   behind. Have a great hiking adventure along the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail.
