Fork Salmon section has a distance of 24 miles; you find this segment of whitewater on Loon Creek. It's a category IV-V segment. This segment of Loon Creek is well fitting for those experienced in paddling. For your safety you must always check the latest conditions prior to going paddling. Lakes are pleasant; Falconberry Lake is a lake that's close to Indian Springs. Challis National Forest is worth visiting if you're at Indian Springs, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Shellrock Ridge Trail. This campground is so nice.
