This campground is one of the magnificent places to camp here in the Bitterroot Range. The friendly people working here and the glorious large amount of fun activities will make you feel great. It's impossible to get bored in Idaho if you love the outdoors. There's loads of outdoors recreation available around here such as swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do. The great choice of local attractions, and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are great incentives to come. amusing things to do near Pete Ott; when you get to enjoy this place for a while you will feel like another person. There's a good category III-IV run of whitewater nearby on Kelly Creek, the 10-mile-long Clayton Creek to Kelly
| | Forks Campground sector. If by chance you boast a bit of whitewater rafting or kayaking experience, this run of Kelly Creek could be a great run for your ability. Don't go whitewater rafting or kayaking ahead of first checking restrictions; it's risky business. Take a side spree to Pete Ott Creek, and Black Canyon is a good spot to go to. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Bitterroot Range. Clearwater National Forest is worth stopping at if you're at Pete Ott, and you can observe Elizabeth Mountain from Pete Ott. This campground is so tremendous. Don't leave Pete Ott without stopping by St. Joe National Forest, and if you get bored of Pete Ott you could also visit nearby Heather Lake. | |
