There's a tremendous grade II-III run of whitewater nearby on Grimes Creek, the 4-mile-long 4 miles upstream of Highway 21 to MoReservoir Creek confluence section. It may be said that this run of Grimes Creek is a place for fun raft paddling. If by chance you are going raft paddling, you should always check circumstances. Browns Gulch is a splendid site to spend some time at; Macks Creek is right by the Hulls Gulch Nature Trail.
