If you enjoy whitewater, there is the Walnut Woods SP Ledges portion, a grade I-II whitewater stretch on Raccoon River, 0.1 miles from start to finish. This stretch of Raccoon River is an uncomplicated stretch for whitewater kayaking and rafting. For your security you   have to always check restrictions ahead of going whitewater kayaking and rafting.
