Squaw Creek County Park is enormously well liked by the folks in Marion. The Kepler State Park section has a span of 0.1 miles; you run into this sweep of whitewater on Cedar River. It's a category III sweep. The Kepler State Park section of Cedar River is appropriate for whitewater boaters who have been kayak paddling for some time but who are not yet ready for the truly hazardous rapids.
