Hartwell Dam is not far at all from Georgia River; don't forget to take a delightful little spree to Big Generostee Creek. Everyone loves a cool tour to close by Boulevard Lanes, and head out on the beautiful water at Harbor Light Marina South. This is a nice campground. Bring the little ones on some enjoyable rides at nearby Anderson County Fair, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at East Beach. If you're here at Georgia River and you like golf, you can explore Yacht Club, and not far from Georgia River you'll come across Hartwell Lake which is a scenic lake.   Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Georgia River.
