On Cooper Creek nearby you discover the 5.2-mile-in-length USFS Route 33 to Mulky Creek Camp portion of grade II-III whitewater. This portion of Cooper Creek is well suited for whitewater boaters who have been whitewater rafting and kayaking for a while but who are not yet prepared for the extremely dangerous rapids. Whitewater rapids are dangerous things, so you have to check the situation before heading out. A game of bowling is cool at nearby Fannin Lanes, and a lake close by is Nottely Lake. Yeah, come up here to   the Blue Ridge Mountains for a wonderful time.
