A number of folks camp here for the purpose of being near Oconee State Park. This campground is to be found in the scenic       Blue Ridge Mountains. Willis Knob Horse Camp is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks of Mountain Rest. Willis Knob Horse Camp is to be found in an area with loads of entertaining stuff to do, and it's one of   those sites where everything is great. The workforce who's always there to lend a hand and the wonderful facilities are rather mind-blowing. Such a tremendous choice of attractions and all the outdoors recreation are wonderful incentives to come. There's so many things to do at Willis Knob Horse Camp including whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, hiking, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. At Scaly Mountain 10% of the trails are difficult while 90% are blue and green; everybody likes Scaly Mountain with its 12 acres of skiable territory. Ski down the 10 trails of Scaly Mountain; this ski hill has an altitude difference of 225 feet. Scaly   Mountain has 4 good ski lifts and gets on average 6 feet of beautiful snow per winter.
