Housatonic River has a nearby whitewater run; the Bulls Bridge Dam to Gaylordsville sector is a perfect 2.6-mile-from-beginning-to-end type IV run of whitewater. In case you hold some paddling experience, this sector of Housatonic River may be a perfect spot for you. Of course, paddling is exciting but perilous; check restrictions   prior to departure.
