In the event that you're looking for a category IV-V whitewater segment to paddle, you're in luck; the Upper section is a pleasant 5.7-mile-long piece of Fryingpan River. This segment of Fryingpan River is a hard segment for whitewater boating. Of course, whitewater boating is enjoyable but risky; check circumstances before you go. Here at Chapman you'll probably meet some folks   from Meredith, and Chapman Dam is beautiful.
