Bogan Flats       is prized by the folks of Somerset. All the good local attractions around here and the good variety of outdoors recreation are good motives to come. At Bogan Flats fun stuff to do is bountiful, and if you're trying to find a good   place to go camping, this is a tremendous selection. Colorado is a good place for outdoors people. A lot of folks camp here when going to Paonia State Park. The staff that runs this campground and all the exciting things to do are in themselves motive enough to come here. There's a tremendous 2-mile-in-distance grade V+ whitewater run on Crystal River close by, the Redstone to Penny Hot Springs portion. This run of Crystal River is recommended for expert paddlers only. Always check the latest conditions prior to departure whitewater paddling in view of the fact that whitewater paddling is a dangerous pastime. Bogan Flats is right by the Terror Trail; in case you're here at   Bogan Flats during the wintertime you may always stop at Sunlight Snowmobile Tours and rent a snow mobile.
