There's a total of 6 lifts at nearby ski mountain SolVista Basin. SolVista Basin boasts 18 feet of ice cold snow every winter, has an altitude difference of 1,000 feet, and 37 runs. The Hot Sulphur Springs to Highway 40 bridge portion is   a wonderful 3-mile-in-distance type IV segment of whitewater on Colorado River.
