Of course, raft paddling is fun but dangerous; check current conditions previous to going. Do pop by Copco Lake next to Mallard Cove, it's a beautiful lake; why not head up to Mt. Ashland and strap some skis to your feet. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Southern Cascade Range. If you want to stop at some out of the ordinary stuff, stop at Klamath Rim. Bring the kids on some cool rides at close by Greensprings Outback, and a pleasant spree   to Beaver Basin is a good way to spend an afternoon.
