If by chance you enjoy whitewater, there is the Knob Gulch confluence to Platina Road portion, a category IV whitewater section on Cottonwood Creek - Middle Fork, 11.1 miles in length. The Knob Gulch confluence to Platina Road portion of Cottonwood Creek - Middle Fork is well suited for kayak paddlers who have been raft paddling for a while but who are not yet prepared for the incredibly perilous rapids. You have to check conditions in advance of a trip; raft paddling can turn   perilous.
