This campground is one of the magnificent places to camp here in the San Gabriel Mountains. Goldwater Canyon is fantastically popular with people from Mt Baldy. The staff who's always there to help out and the perfectly taken care of facilities have folks coming here. If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's fishing, swimming, playing golf, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. There's       such a large number of things to do next to Goldwater Canyon, and loads of folks like to come here to escape. The great variety of local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation are delightful motives to come.   The 28 runs that cover the close by ski area Mt. Baldy are lots of fun; these runs get an average of 8 feet of beautiful snow yearly. Mt. Baldy has a splendid 2,100-foot elevation difference, and has 4 ski lifts. Mt. Baldy is a splendid ski area with 400 acres of skiing land. 40% of the runs are expert and advanced and 60% are green and blue. Everybody loves Mountain High and its 290 acres of skiable land. 65% of the slopes are blue and green while 35% of them are black and red and appropriate for expert skiers. There are 16 good ski lifts at Mountain High, a ski hill featuring a great 1,600-foot altitude difference and 62 slopes. Mountain High obtains an average of 12 feet of white snow every   winter.
