Ok, you've been cooped up too long, you've got to get out of the house; Sweetwater in California is precisely what you need. Sweetwater is one of the places to camp here in the Central Sierra Nevada. There's such a large number of things to do in close proximity to Sweetwater; it is       a fun location for everyone. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is swimming, fishing, playing golf, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stay a bit. California has loads of outdoors   activities. The Lumsden Campground to Wards Ferry Bridge segment on Tuolumne River is a nearby class IV-V whitewater run, 18 miles long. This segment of Tuolumne River is suited for whitewater boaters who have been raft paddling for a bit. Don't go raft paddling ahead of first checking restrictions; it's risky stuff. With its 1,023 foot altitude difference it's a wonderful trail; the Pilot Ridge Trail is 2.1 miles of splendid backcountry hiking. The Pilot Ridge Trail is hard; it calls for approximately two and a half hours to hike. Don't leave Sweetwater without first going for a hike along the Pilot Ridge Trail; you obtain a nice view of Gravel Range from here. So many exciting things   in the Central Sierra Nevada, just tremendous.
