All the good local attractions in the neighborhood and such a good variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. On nearby Mill Creek you encounter a type II-III stretch of whitewater; the Highway 270 to Fourche LaFAvenue River segment is 3 miles long. Don’t depend on continuing to be dry kayak paddling this stretch of Mill Creek if by chance you're not an expert whitewater paddler. Kayak paddling can become treacherous, so check current conditions in advance of a trip. Take a side visit to Turner Creek,   and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Boles.
