There's a great 12.5-mile-from-start-to-finish type I-II whitewater segment on North Sylamore Creek close by, the Barkshed to Allison section. The Barkshed to Allison section of North Sylamore Creek is   fitting for whitewater boaters who haven't been whitewater rafting or kayaking for so long.
