There's such a great deal of things to do at Road 699 including swimming, hiking, playing golf,       fishing, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. If by chance you're searching for a type III whitewater stretch to paddle, you're in luck; the Skyway Mtwy to Waldo Bridge State Route 77 portion is a good 7.25-mile-from-start-to-finish   piece of Talladega Creek. This stretch of Talladega Creek is a cool stretch for kayak paddling. If by chance you are going kayak paddling, you should always check current conditions. You could also go to Lake Chinnabee if you're here at Road 699; it's close by. Near Road 699 you locate Chandler Gap which is a great location to have a look at, and Cheaha State Park is a glorious place to stretch your legs a bit. This campground is a gorgeous spot to stop at. A trip to a nearby bowling alley such as Talladega Bowling Center is always enjoyable; there are plenty of people from Talladega here at Road 699. Going for a hike on the Odum Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and playing golf   is lots of fun at Timber Ridge Golf.
