Gambrill State Park is a tremendous site for RV-ing. Horseback riding is offered at this campground; on a splendid day you may have a splendid picnic at the picnic area. There are splendid tent sites here where you may raise that tent, and in the event that you enjoy comfort, there are great cabins at this campground. Catoctin Creek has a close by whitewater sweep; the US 40 to Potomac River section is a perfect 28.8-mile-long class I-II sweep of whitewater. This sweep of Catoctin Creek is perfect for those missing a great deal   of whitewater know-how.
