The Canyonville Park to Lawson Bar portion, a whitewater part on Umpqua River - South is 5 miles from beginning to end. This nearby part of whitewater is a grade II-III. The Canyonville Park to Lawson Bar portion of Umpqua River - South is suited for kayak paddlers who have been raft paddling for a bit but who are not yet set for the truly perilous rapids. Always check restrictions before you go raft paddling because   raft paddling is a perilous activity.
